Playing a Puzzle
When navigating the sudoku puzzle, the currently selected square is always colored. The relevant row, column, and 3x3 box are also highlighted.

The selecting square can be assigned a different color using Settings from the menu:

Penciled numbers can be entered by holding down the shift or alt keys while typing a number. A "pencil-lock" mode (space bar) can also be used for entering lots of penciled numbers at once. The size of the penciled numbers can be adjusted from the Settings dialog.

Additional navigation details are available in the Help->Instructions menu:
Creating a Custom Puzzle
Custom puzzles can be made by typing in the starting puzzle grid. The 9x9 grid begins completely blank:

Enter in the starting grid of the puzzle:

Then save:

The custom puzzle can then be played and saved just like any other puzzle:

Up to 20 custom puzzles can be stored at any time. Once you're done with a custom puzzle, you can delete it and add another.
New in Vol. 2
Sudoku Puzzler Vol. 2 incorporates a few changes versus Vol. 1. The most obvious change is the art next to the puzzles:

Vol. 2 has some feature upgrades too:
- Puzzle names can be edited
- Puzzles can be sorted by progress
- Penciled numbers can be sorted within each square
Vol. 2 also enables choosing a number with a number picker:

This allows easier one-handed play using just the wheel, for those sudoku-filled train or bus rides.
That's about it! Feel free to write us if you have any questions.
